Hi Natalie. Thank you for taking the time to write. So glad you and your daughters enjoyed Rodney Loses It. The sequel’s written and illustrated and will be out in July. Rodney Forgets It!
Hi Michael,
Darlene Navis from AISGuangzhou, China. First I look back on your visit here working with our MS students, what, three years ago with much appreciation. I can’t believe it’s been that long. We just said goodbye to Laurie Halse Anderson and she made me think of you because you, also connected well with the students and were so easy to host. That leads to my second point… I said I would promote you to my library network and never have until this morning. I’ve posted your info in a couple of threads that I hope give you some opportunities to continue traveling internationally to share your love of writing, reading, and humour!!
All the best, Darlene
Hi Darlene. Lovely to hear from you! It was actually two years ago. I know because I’ve been seeing memory posts about my visit on my Facebook page. Wonderful reminders of a great experience. I’m also facebook friends with Elisa so it’s nice that I see her posts from time to time. Thank you so much for the promotion on your network. I hope you and your family are well and school life is not too busy. I have great memories of my time at AIS Guangzhou and of the kindness and friendship that was shown to me by you and Elisa and the other staff. Cheers Michael.
H Michael, I’ve just read Rodney Loses It to my 4 and 7 year old daughters. We laughed so hard at the final line. Will you write a sequel?
